MUNICH ENGAMENT SHOOT // V+ J

An engagement shoot is a fun date with your fiancé captured with a camera.

I mean, it’s going to be a fun date with your fiancé if you book me to shoot it. 😉

Verena and Jaime got engaged and I’m happy to share the images we took at the mini Oktoberfest aka Frühlingsfest wearing Dirndl and Lederhose last week. Looking forward to their Ecuadorian-Bavarian wedding in August!

You can visit the fair in Munich until 3rd May – go for it.

S + D // MALLORCA LOVE STORY

May 2014. Waking up to the sound of donkeys. Mallorca is some sort of paradise and it offers the perfect light and settings for photographs nearly throughout the whole year.

It certainly is exciting to have another (wedding) photographer in front of the camera. Sabrina and I met through work. Exchanged experience. Became friends. And now I don´t want to miss her in my life anymore. I think she is is incredibly (!) talented and I really mean it. It was a pleasure to create these images for her and her boy Dennis, who is one of the funniest people ever.

Ihr zwei seid super zusammen!

Alles Liebe und bis bald,
Kristina

Sabrina took some images of me, too, that day. So if you would like to see them, hop over to her blog. http://nice4youreyes.de/wordpress/mallorquinische-schonheit/

and be nice. 🙂

love,
Kristina

MEETING HALFWAY // Anna + Martin

I wished every long-distance-relationship could have a happy end like theirs…

Once upon a time, a French boy fell in love with a German girl. They liked each other a lot and decided to meet halfway. So they moved together to (the probably most neutral territory on earth…) Switzerland.

Next year we are getting married… I mean, they are getting married and me and Mr. Nikon are going to be there, too.  IN FRANCE! This is a huge honor for me. Can´t wait. You know, it was a veeery lucky coincidence we even met each other. At a wedding, that I wasn´t supposed to photograph but did in the end. But this is a whole nother story… 🙂

Anna, Martin, I´m happy that we met. À bientôt!

grosses bises from rainy Munich,
Kristina

WHERE THE GRASS IS GREEN

I know a great little place in Sothern Germany, where the grass is as green as grass can be. Close to the mountains, where the big city fuss seems far away and people can always find a parking place: Allgäu.

Every time I get the opportunity to shoot there, I dance my happy dance. Because so far, it´s all been a good experience.

And when there is a couple, who has been in contact with me over 6 months, suggests to have a picnic, you can bet I´m in. This is how I would like to approach every photo shoot. As a visual documentation of who you are and what you do together when you are by yourself.

Simple. Real. Not perfectly posed. But perfectly happy.

Tomorrow. The whole thing is coming up.

This? A dreamy introduction. The civil ceremony before the big day. In a bright place, outside, with the closest friends at one of the most beautiful registry offices I have seen. But wait and see what is yet to come.

Can´t wait for tomorrow.

M + R // romantic wedding in ristorante Palalladio

Sometimes, like now for instance, I sit in front of my computer wondering how to describe this wedding in words, introducing the following blogpost. And I fail, every. single. time. How could I possibly write down how much I appreciate these people? How much joy it is to see them unconditionally happy. Why can´t we all be like this all the time – fully alive, simply enjoying every single moment. When I take the photographs of their beautiful day, I feel connected in a very special way. They cry and laugh, kiss and hug, right front of my eyes. And thanks to my camera, that magical machine, I´m allowed to be part of it.

I will never be able to explain why I cannot imagine a better job, than making memories for others.

VRONI + ROLAND – wedding in castle Pertenstein

I see so much love and pure happiness in these people´s faces.

And than, somewhere between changing camera settings and lenses, I think to myself

what a wonderful world.

Vroni and Roland said yes on a sunny day under the sky at Schloss Pertenstein – a castle straight out of a fairy tale, near Chiemsee. Over 40 children alone attended this wedding, little angels were just everywhere.
